Mission church provides a home for migrant workers

For nine years, the Macau Methodist Filipino Mission (MMFM) has been a sanctuary for Filipinos living in Macau (a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China). The church’s ministry of offering counseling services, visitation, and hospitality serves the community and warms the hearts of the congregation and guests.

In 2017, the mission church started in Macau bringing together Filipino friends working in the area. The Rev. Susan Estrada Dillozon of The United Methodist Church was assigned as Administrative Pastor of MMFM. She was inspired by the members’ eagerness to conduct Sunday worship, share their stories and join in fellowship.

The church’s small space doesn’t hinder them from growing stronger in mission and love. They present God’s comfort through loving boldly, serving joyfully, and leading courageously even on a foreign land.
