WORKSHOP OVERVIEW This interactive workshop equips clergy, faith leaders, and lay leaders with practical restorative skills for navigating conflict with greater confidence, compassion, and accountability. Participants will explore conflict styles, co-regulation, and ways to transform difficult conversations into opportunities for deeper understanding, stronger relationships, and healthier community life - tools they can immediately apply within their faith communities. SPEAKER Melody Stanford Martin is the Executive Director of Restorative Justice Institute and author of Brave Talk: Building Resilient Relationships in the Face of Conflict and co-author of I-IMAGINE: A Restorative Framework for Transforming Conflict and Culture. Melody is a social ethicist, restorative justice practitioner, and communications expert focused on courageous community engagement and creative approaches to social change. Melody is a graduate of the Conflict Transformation program at Boston University, where she obtained her Master’s of Divinity. Melody has worked for many years as a consultant, executive coach, facilitator, and speaker, teaching businesses, families, nonprofits, faith communities, and government organizations the art of restorative practice and building resilient relationships.
