This course is for those who read Scripture aloud for a worshipping congregation, and want to increase their people’s engagement with God’s powerful stories of Jesus’ death and Resurrection. This year, we’ll explore Matthew’s Resurrection story deeply together. We’ll experience its challenges, and coach one another in reading it “with a storytelling spirit!” Folks who Tell Scripture by heart are also welcome, but it is not a course in the art biblical storytelling itself: no “learning by heart” required. This course has been approved by Discipleship Ministries as an advanced course in Lay Servant Ministries. It provides the required 10 contact hours.
