In this practical, interactive two-week course, participants will examine different approaches to Bible study and how they empower leaders to understand this vast library of books. The course teaches participants how to shape a study of Scripture for a small group, how to teach so the witnesses of the Bible are respected and honored, and how to help today’s readers find meaning and direction. This course has been approved by Discipleship Ministries (formerly the General Board of Discipleship) as an advanced course in Lay Servant Ministries and qualifies for 10 contact hours for Lay Speakers (equivalent 1 CEU).
