Mountain Park United Methodist Church seeks a part-time organist at 10 hours per week. Responsibilities include planning and preparing appropriate organ (or piano) music for one Sunday morning service (with a Wednesday evening choir rehearsal), special services throughout the year (Christmas Eve, Good Friday, etc.), and other unique events, such as our annual Christmas and Spring concerts. The organist has the right of first refusal for all funerals and weddings, with additional compensation available. Candidates should possess significant musical training, creativity, and a flexible approach to worship planning. Salary is commensurate with education, skills, and experience, beginning at $26,000.
