Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Minimum two years experience in Kids Ministry
  • Experience with Orange curriculum a plus

Position Requirements

  • Must pass a background check
  • Requires flexible schedule including Sundays and some weeknights

Primary Responsibilities

Ministry Leadership

  • Cast vision and guide all aspects of Kids Ministry experiences
  • Equip and support parents in discipling their kids at home
  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteer leaders
  • Select and implement curriculum for both weekend and midweek programming
  • Ensure radical hospitality for new and returning families
  • Plan and execute special events and spiritual milestones
  • Create small group experiences and mission opportunities for kids
  • Foster a Safe Sanctuary environment that prioritizes safety and belonging
  • Collaborate with Adult Discipleship on parenting resources and classes
  • Stay informed on best practices in kids and family ministry

Ministry Management

  • Lead daily administrative and ministry decisions
  • Manage communication requests and logistics
  • Represent Kids Ministry in discipleship and church-wide meetings
  • Oversee volunteer team recruitment, training, and evaluation
  • Ensure timely follow-up with families and volunteers
  • Support communication and marketing efforts for kids ministry events
  • Oversee and manage the Kids Ministry budget
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your team leader
