Skip a lunch. Send a net. Save a life.

Are there days when getting out for lunch seems like a matter of life and death? We invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 25 and be part of a lunch hour that could save thousands and thousands of lives!

It’s called Malaria Awareness Day, and it’s a day to remember that every lunch hour, and every hour, over 100 children will die from malaria. On this day, we’re asking United Methodists from all over to skip lunch and spend that hour remembering the children of Africa. We’re hoping our congregations will open their doors during that lunch hour, and find creative ways to involve the people of their church and community to increase awareness of this disease and its victims.

And the $10 you might have spent on lunch that day? Send a net, save a life.

To download the resources below, select the resource you want and click the link. The file with either be opened or a file download dialogue box will open asking you to either Open the file or Save it to your computer. To download the file to your computer, choose the Save option, making sure you specify where the file will be saved.
