'Proclaiming Scripture with a Storytelling Spirit for Advent' offers a relaxed but in-depth journey through Advent stories in Luke, along with suggestions for not just reading, but proclaiming the Scripture texts “with a storytelling spirit”! This Advent journey is for both liturgists who prefer to read and biblical storytellers! It’s not an introduction to biblical storytelling as such. In churches that follow the Revised Common Lectionary, Advent 2024 begins the year of Luke, but there is rarely time to explore Luke’s whole Incarnation story. Exploration of difficult as well as familiar sections of the text will develop skills for either reading or telling it.
