Whether you are new to teaching, transitioning from teaching children to teaching adults, or have been teaching adults for a long time, this BeADisciple.com course offers helpful ideas and techniques! Start Here, by Barbara Bruce, invites you to learn about Multiple Intelligences, Learning Hooks, Influential Factors, and more. The materials will focus on the context, setting, and process of teaching, including writing a mission statement for teaching and creating a sample lesson plan. This Flexible Schedule version of the course begins on the first Monday of the month and ends on the last Friday of the month. All materials will be open from the first day and learners will be able to work at their own speed throughout the month. Contact hours will be earned by viewing videos, and engaging with the instructor in Blackboard’s Discussion Board Questions, Journals, and Assignments. The instructor will respond to posts three days a week.
