In our continuing efforts for prayerful discernment on the current state and future direction of The United Methodist Church, the Philippines Central Conference Board of Church and Society, Board of Women's Work and Board of Christian Education and Discipleship are sponsoring a public conversation on "Why I am Staying UMC and Why You Should, too." with the Rev. Dr. Liberato Bautista, assistant general secretary for UN and International Affairs, General Board of Church and Society. Discussion on mission and connectionalism and personal testimonies of staying UMC are the highlights of the said forum. In this regard, we are inviting all United Methodists clergy and lay to attend this important forum. This will be held on June 16, 2023, Friday, from 3:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon at the Central United Methodist Church, T.M. Kalaw, Manila. For those who opt to join online, a link for Facebook live streaming will be provided by your respective Episcopal Area Director of Communications.
