Designed as an introduction to John Wesley’s life, this course looks at Wesley’s biography through the eyes of those familiar with the Wesley historic sites in England. You will hear the pastor who oversaw the Epworth Rectory Museum discuss the life of the Wesley family and John’s childhood; a leader of Wesley Memorial Church in Oxford talk about John’s college days; a chaplain of the New Room in Bristol describe John’s field preaching; and the assistant pastor of City Chapel in London discuss John as a preacher and organizer of societies. The course will look at the impact these different places had on Wesley’s life.
