GCFA offers an online certification institute for UMC administrators. The institute includes such courses as “Taxes & the Church”, “Connectional Giving”, “Office Finances,” and “Ethics & Confidentiality.” Each course within the online PAUMCS Certification for Administrators is self-paced and progresses based on the learner's own schedule. Each time the learner returns to the course, the automatic bookmark will keep track of where the course was left off last and take the learner directly to that place within the course. Once a course is completed, the learner will be able to begin another course within the certification curriculum. All modules must be completed by August 13th, which gives you 2 ½ months to complete the course. When you save a module you can go directly to where you left off. The course cost is $300. GCFA offers a $50 scholarship for those who apply.
