In July, many Americans will celebrate the freedom that we have in our country. Some, like the author of the book this course will use, celebrate freedom from cancer. But, what about those who have just been diagnosed with cancer, or who may not come to know that freedom while here on Earth? This transformative class will take the learner from scared to prepared when talking about the diagnosis, treatment, and “after cancer life” for themselves or a loved one, by studying the story of someone who survived the ordeal and talks about it with faith, humor and honesty.
