We are a small congregation situated in a small community (500 people) located about half way between Ithaca and Cortland, New York. Our location affords us the atmosphere and familial feeling of a small town, with access to the amenities of both cities and the colleges and university located there. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to join us for the coffee hour following the worship service.

In addition to weekly worship, FUMC provides free food to those who need it on the second and fourth Mondays of every month. We provide a clothing giveaway twice a year, usually April and October. We also host a free community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. The church has always been active in missions, particularly for a church of its size. Mission activities include the above, Relay for Life, CWS 30-hr. famine, CWS Blankets+, UM Special Offering Sundays, CROP Walk, Emergency Food Pantry, and more.

Our music ministry is strong for a church of this size. Occasionally, we enjoy an evening of special music or just singing hymns.
