For many years, the matter of the worldwide nature of The United Methodist Church, while an impetus for visioning and change, has challenged us to live into new ways of being the church today.
The issue of the worldwide nature of the church is more than just a conversation about structure.
Fundamentally, it is about the theology of a global church that seeks to do mission in the different locations of its members and how they structure themselves for effective ministries within their own context.
