Is it required to publicly announce a committee meeting at least ten days in advance?

The Book of Discipline requires ten days notification for charge conference sessions. It states, "Notice of time and place of a regular or special session of the charge conference shall be given at least ten days in advance by two or more of the following (except as local laws may otherwise provide): from the pulpit of the church, in its weekly bulletin, in a local church publication, or by mail." (¶ 246.8, 2012 Book of Discipline)

There is no specified notification time stated for other church committees, however, to ensure the greatest attendance by committee members, reasonable notification is preferable.
