    In 2007, United Methodists give nearly $5.1 billion annually for local church expenditures, including program and operating expenses, pastor salaries and expenses, debt payment and benevolences paid directly to the local church.

    United Methodists give nearly $758 million yearly for jurisdictional, area, annual conference and district clergy support, administration and benevolences.

    United Methodists contributed $137 million for general apportioned benevolences, clergy support and administration, including $69 million for World Service, the basic program and benevolence fund.

    United Methodists donated an additional $46 million to other general benevolences, including The Advance, World Service Specials and United Methodist Women.

    Local congregations gave a total of $6.29 billion for all purposes in 2007.
