Giving
In 2008, United Methodists gave a total of $6.3 billion for all purposes.
World Service and conference benevolences received $171.5 million and all other benevolences received nearly $425 million.
$21.5 million was sent to United Methodist Women district and conference treasurers.
More than $1.7 billion was received for clergy support and administration.
