Where to Stay

There are eight hotels in the central downtown Fort Worth area and a large number in the outlying areas. Click on “where to stay” at the http://www.fortworth.com web site for many more choices. A downloadable “Downtown Walking Map” can help in showing directions and distances.

The Fort Worth Hilton (formerly the Radisson Plaza Hotel) is located directly north of the Convention Center at 815 Main St. (817-870-2100) and offers sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, and a dining room.

The next closest hotels are two smaller facilities — the Park Central Hotel (1010 Houston St. • 817-336-2011) which is modestly priced, and The Ashton Hotel (610 Main St. • 817-332-0100) which is more expensive. About two blocks south/one block east of the Convention Center is the moderately priced Sheraton Hotel (1701 Commerce St. • 817-335-7000).

Located four to seven blocks north of the Convention Center are three hotels — the Embassy Suites with 156 suites (600 Commerce St. • 817-332-6900), the Courtyard by Marriott-Blackstone (601 Main St. • 817-885-8700), and Etta’s Place (200 W. Third St. • 817-255-5760).

The farthest from the Convention Center is also the largest and more upscale hotel — the Renaissance Worthington Hotel (200 Main St. • 817-870-1000) with a large selection of sleeping and meeting rooms and several dining options.
