The Church in Sierra Leone: Ebola and Outreach to Orphans
There are an estimated 12,000 children orphaned by the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa. The United Methodist Church in Sierra Leone is responding through mission outreach and development of an orphanage in one of the hardest hit areas of the nation.
A team from United Methodist Communications traveled to the area in early 2015 and visited some of the young ones whose lives were forever changed by Ebola.
