South Congo Area Bishop Kasap’s fiancée dies in hospital

WASHINGTON – South Congo Area Bishop Kasap Owan Tshibang’s fiancée, Ms. Miriam Mwenya Tshibind, died today, June 22, 2017 in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo, after a short illness.
In announcing her death, Bishop Kasap said Ms. Miriam Mwenya Tshibind passed away in a hospital where she was admitted due to low blood pressure.
Bishop Kasap and Ms. Tshibind were preparing for their wedding set for Sept. 23, 2017.
Bishop Kasap, who was elected a bishop of The United Methodist Church this year, lost his first wife in 2013.
