Historic Church’s Connection to 9/11

The 250-year-old John Street United Methodist Church is the oldest Methodist congregation in the United States. Located in the Wall Street District of New York City, the church was a place of comfort for the community following the 2001 terrorist attacks on the nearby World Trade Center. In this encore presentation, we visit the site one year after 9/11, when church members remembered those lost and turned to God to light a way toward forgiveness.
