Sierra Leone bishop: Overseas support at risk

MAKENI, Sierra Leone (UMNS) — The United Methodist Church in Sierra Leone needs to reduce its reliance on overseas support in case the global denomination splits over the issue of homosexuality, Bishop John K. New film on Reinhold Niebuhr speaks to today

United Methodist Wesley Theological Seminary helped sponsor the debut of a new documentary and panel discussion on the Christian thinker. Hosanna Health Walkathon — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT. Alcorn State University’s Wesley Foundation will host a walkathon to benefit the Sickle Cell Foundation and its ministries at its track, 1000 ASU Drive, Loman, Mississippi. Details
