Clergy Couple’s Prayer Room Miracle
The Rev. Clifton Conrad and his wife Kathleen were among the more than 60,000 Louisiana residents whose houses were damaged by flooding in August of 2016. Surveying the damage to their Baton Rouge home, the couple discovered a bit of dry ground. Kathleen's sacred prayer space was the only spot spared. The couple hopes that sharing their story will give others hope in the face of natural disasters. "Disasters are going to happen. God didn't save Noah from the flood, He saved Noah through the flood," says Conrad, pastor of Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
