The Thursday evening worship was an invitation to “come to the table.”

Bishop Deborah Lieer Kiesey offered a meditation about “The Final Encounter.”

In response the General Conference congregation asked the questions, in music, “How long will we sing? How long will we pray? How long will we write and send? How long will we bring? How long will we stay? How long will we make amends?” and answered, “Until all are fed…”

Bishop Marcus Matthews offered a word in “songs and testimonies.”

The closing song: “He Came Down That We Might Have Love”
