The Mission Branch at Mount Pisgah UMC in Midlothian, Virginia held a large scale mission project to support Imagine No Malaria.

"We can do so much more when we join together as a congregation and as a Conference," said June Adams, who helped spearhead the effort. "Mount Pisgah set its Imagine No Malaria fundraising goal at $10,000, and we are delighted to announce we have made the goal already!"

The fundraising kicked off Oct. 5, 2014, with a special offering at the church's three services, following a video and pulpit presentation on Imagine No Malaria. Special display centers were set up around the church using photos from the Imagine No Malaria website and real mosquito nets. Donations were encouraged to be continued during the fall and holiday season.
Using the Imagine No Malaria website, the church secretary, Melissa Holmes, created Imagine No Malaria Christmas and birthday cards to be sold for $10 per card. Donors could give the card to honor of the recipient and fund one mosquito net for Imagine No Malaria. "This was a very popular sale, and it brought in more donations for Imagine No Malaria than we expected," said Adams. "We will continue to sell the birthday cards until we sell out by May 17, our fundraising deadline. We hope to earn as many funds as possible over the reached goal."
