Welcome

Welcome and thanks for your interest in Mount Zion. We believe God has called us into action to help establish (build) on earth the Kingdom He has already ordained in Heaven for our personal lives and for the life of our community. Salvation is not just about the hereafter. God wants us to prosper holistically today and to help others go and do likewise. Mount Zion is on the move! As an urban church, we attract all kinds of people, especially people who feel at home with diversity. We believe in family and community. Join us, as we continue to rebuild our church and community. We welcome all ages, genders, and races. In the words of the holy scriptures, we invite "whosoever will" to join us. There is no special dress code.

A warm welcoming and loving environment is always expected by our visitors and our members. You can expect a vibrant traditional/contemporary form of worship with blended music and soul-stirring, sound preaching. We believe in creating an environment of raising spiritual leaders one person at a time.

Church can happen anywhere.  It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
