Grand Avenue Temple United Methodist Church

205 E 9 Th, Kansas City, MO 64106

You are invited to share at 10am on Sundays to have your hope renewed, bondages broken and faith developed in Christ Jesus.

We study and discuss the Bible together during Gospel Talk from 8:30-9:30 am on Sundays.
We pray for peace, protection, and discernment for Kansas City on Tuesdays at 10:30-11am Through a Prayer Walk in the downtown area and from 11-12noon praying in the beautiful historic sanctuary.

May God bless you!

We are located several blocks from City Market in the downtown Kansas City area just past the corner corner of 9th and Grand. We are a chuch with “no walls” welcoming everyone who slept under bridges, in shelters, surburbs, lofts and inner city to share in worship. Worship is uplifting, authentic empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Free parking is available at 9th and McGhee at the Federal Bldg. fenced parking lot.

Church can happen anywhere.  It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
