Founded in 1821, First United Methodist Church of Pensacola is the oldest Protestant church in the area and the oldest Methodist church in Florida. This historic church with four Sunday services has a membership of 3400 and is overflowing with life. Come and be a part of what God is doing here.
First Church has the impact of a large church with the heart and feel of a small, local congregation. Every Sunday morning we have four Sunday worship services in a variety of styles. All service follow the Revised Common Lectionary and observe Holy Communion weekly.

ICON at 11:00 AM
ICON at 11:00am is a new style of worship at First Church which is cutting edge, tradition rich, art embracing, mission minded, and Christ centered. ICON meets in First Church’s contemporary worship space, Wesley Abbey. The ICON Worship Band leads the music at this service. Services include a sermon by Rev. Brandon Bures, Associate Pastor, or Dr. Wesley H. Wachob and regularly include a special sermon for children.
Church can happen anywhere. It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
