When God speaks, do we know how to listen? Do we know how to identify God’s plans and call for each of us? And do we make it clear to young people – both as individuals and as a congregation – that God is speaking to them? Helping youth and young adults listen for and respond to God’s call is a powerful way to cultivate energy and deep faithfulness within your congregation and form young people into disciples of Jesus. This course is for anyone who wants their church to celebrate listening to God. In this course, we’ll develop a culture in our congregations that listens for and celebrates God’s call. You’ll explore several Biblical stories of call (as well as your own), learn how to recognize God’s call – what it looks and feels like – and learn the language of call so you’re better equipped to talk about it with others. We’ll engage in powerful discussions about how God is at work in and around us. We want to emphasize: you can make a difference in your church! The problem is often not knowing where to begin. Enroll in this class and join us in active fellowship and in-depth study as we take part in God’s call to be the body of Christ together. Enroll Now! Price: $45 ***This is an online course, meaning you can participate at the time of day that works best for your schedule. Course materials will become available at Noon Central on the start day, and you should plan to spend an hour or two (whenever you choose) every day interacting with the course and on the discussion boards.***
