Everyone expects to learn when they pursue higher education, but do they expect to learn from God? God often calls at the times of transition, but college students may not recognize a call from God or even be able to articulate their questions and experiences. This online class helps you — an adult involved in campus ministry — to discern when and where God is calling, and help young people do the same. In other words, you’ll develop a campus ministry culture that nurtures and celebrates God’s call in the lives of young people and moves them closer to God. Through this class, you’ll collaborate with peers from other campus ministries on ways to help students hear and respond to God’s call. We’ll learn the language of call, explore the many kinds of call in Scripture, practice talking about call, and practice listening for call in the words of young people in our ministries. We’ll also learn how to reach out to and partner with area churches and Christian camps to form a supportive network that helps young people explore their faith before, during, and after college. God has called YOU to help nurture the faith of young people. Come connect with scripture and each other, and gain confidence in understanding your own call, equipping others to hear their own, and incorporating aspects of God’s call into any setting you’re in. Join us! Enroll Now! Price: $45 ***This is an online course, meaning you can participate at the time of day that works best for your schedule. Course materials will become available at Noon Central on the start day, and you should plan to spend an hour or two (whenever you choose) every day interacting with the course and on the discussion boards.***
